From the dreamscape of bedtime stories, these beings materialize as specimens of an invented narrative. Their habitat exists in the warm breath shared between old and young. It hovers between history and myth. They suggest sensory experiences [umwelten] beyond that of our human understanding. Are they our ancestors or beings that have yet to evolve? Are the words uttered between them in ancient or future languages? They are both the remnants and the seeds. They plead for our attunement to the frequency of their voices.
