Lure
2023, fabric, kapok, acrylic, hooks, cable, 70”x68”x8”
Lure is a speculative relic made from dialogue—between artist and machine, body and ghost, softness and sharpness. Composed of layered fabric and translucent acrylic, its form is both inviting and uncanny, a hybrid pulled from the murky edge of recognition. Born through a recursive process of AI generation, human critique, and material translation, it resists authorship in favor of collaboration. The object hangs in tension, as if listening—an artifact shaped by inquiry, not certainty. It beckons, not with answers, but with the echo of its own making.
